Posted on 01/30/12

February is Heart Month so our Jump Rope for Heart event is fast approaching. On Thursday, February 9th to kick off our Jump Rope For Heart Event, Mark Rothstien from the World of Rope Jumping will be here to work with our students. He will share his stories and jump rope skills with our students throughout the whole day. He will work with each grade level to help them develop some cool jump rope skills!! Our school event will be Thursday, February 23rd during their "specials". Please encourage your child to wear Red or Pink to support our event. To help your child raise money the fun and easy way, you are encouraged to use our online fund-raising tool found at www.heart.org/jump and click the link "Students Sign up!" Your child will personalize his or her own web page and include a message about why he or she is participating in Jump Rope for Heart. Jump Rope for Heart is a fun event that helps our children understand the importance of community service and physical activity while helping to save lives. IF THIS IS A SNOW DAY WE WILL HAVE IT ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH. Thanks for your support!
